Clean regularly: Externally: Gently clean twice daily with sterile saline solution; avoid peroxide, alcohol, or harsh soaps. Internally: Rinse 2–3 times daily with a non-alcoholic, antimicrobial mouthwash or sterile saline, especially after eating, drinking (anything but water), or smoking.
