Why Titanium at Keisha's

For all our tongue piercings, we use implant-grade titanium jewellery to ensure safety, comfort, and durability. Titanium is lightweight, hypoallergenic, and corrosion-resistant, making it ideal for the moist environment inside the mouth. Unlike cheaper metals that can cause irritation or infections, our titanium barbells promote a cleaner, faster healing process, so you can enjoy your new piercing without unnecessary discomfort.

Aftercare

Clean regularly: Rinse 3–4 times daily with a non-alcoholic, antimicrobial mouthwash or sterile saline solution; avoid alcohol-based mouthwashes.

Pro tips:
Avoid playing with or twisting the jewellery
Stay away from spicy, acidic, or hot foods and drinks during healing
Don’t smoke or consume alcohol until fully healed
Maintain excellent oral hygiene but be gentle around the piercing site
Avoid oral contact (kissing, oral sex) until healed
Keep your jewellery tight to prevent swallowing but not too tight to irritate

Our sterile saline solution (£8.99 at our counter) is great for external cleaning and soothing.
